Job Summary

Community Support Coordinator leads supervision, coordination, and quality assurance for CAPCC-aligned community-based services in Calgary, overseeing ISPs development and implementation, staff supervision, program evaluation, documentation, and reporting to support individuals with disabilities through person-centered planning and community inclusion. The role requires developing ISPs, supervising frontline staff, ensuring compliance with CAPCC policies, coordinating community activities, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with families, guardians, and community partners. Qualifications include a degree or diploma in a Human Services-related discipline, First Aid/CPR, a Vulnerable Sectors Police Check, and a valid driver's license. The position is a permanent full-time role based at the SE Calgary mail office, with Monday-to-Friday work days totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in a Human Services related discipline
  • A current Basic First Aid/Emergency First Aid certification that includes CPR/AED
  • A current Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Sectors Search that is satisfactory to CASS
  • A vehicle and valid driver's license are considered assets
