Job Summary
The Community Supervisor supports the Community Director in the property’s overall operation to ensure customer satisfaction and site-level leadership. Responsibilities include monitoring accounts receivable (rent collection, posting, daily deposits, rent-roll accuracy), collecting delinquent balances, processing tenant refunds, and generating/maintaining financial and leasing reports (including month-end pre-close, closeout, market surveys, and lease-expiration matrices). The role handles evictions and related notices, executes leases and renewal processing, coordinates with maintenance, processes move-ins/outs, and assists with resident retention and community events. Additional duties include vendor payment processing, ensuring safety and compliance with company policies, and performing property inspections. Requires driving for company business using a company vehicle or personal vehicle more than 50% of the time. Proficiency with YARDI and MS Office Suite is preferred, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams and military communities. The compensation range is $54,720–$68,040 with benefits, and offers a performance bonus; geographic location and experience influence final offer.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or related discipline Preferred
- 2 years previous property leasing experience Required
- 1-3 years previous experience managing others Required
- DL NUMBER - Driver's License, Valid and in State Required
- Experience with YARDI Preferred
- Strong computer skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels and with military community and command
- Discretion and professional attitude
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-service focused
- Ability to drive using company or personal vehicle for company business more than 50% of the time
- Accredited Residential Management (ARM) Preferred
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM)-NAAHQ Preferred
- Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO) Preferred
