Job Summary

Transport guests to and from hotels, hospitals, casinos, and the local area using safe driving practices and courteous communication. Assist with luggage delivery and pickup during arrivals and departures while maintaining vehicle logs. Inspect vehicles for operational issues before each shift and record any malfunctions. Shuttles guests to approved locations, ensuring accurate knowledge of property outlets and parking rates. Protect guest confidentiality and HIPAA requirements, offering only hand assistance without lifts. Check wheelchair safety and clean equipment after each use. Requires a valid driver's license, clean MVR, and ability to operate vehicles seating eight or less.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background, MVR and drug screen
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license at all times
  • Must complete the Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Towne Park
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Must be able to drive manual transmission
  • Ability to read and write standard English language
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
  • Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Must be able to learn and remember pick-up and destination points
  • Knowledge of all property outlets, meeting rooms, amenities as well as main attractions in the area, parking rates, etc.
  • Must be able to communicate by telephone, two-way radio and in person in a courteous, friendly and professional manner with all guests, location staff and co-workers
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license at all times
  • Must complete the Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Towne Park as applicable
  • Must be able to assist patrons with entering and exiting the vehicle
  • May be required to use specialized equipment such as wheelchair lifts
  • Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
  • Travel of up to 5% may be required
