Job Summary
Community Life Coordinator role overseeing shelter operations, guest check-in, safety, and frontline guest services. Responsibilities include ensuring facility safety, managing intake and records (SCRIBE/Clarity/HMIS), coordinating with Kitchen/Maintenance/IT/Operations, directing guests through intake and services, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting staffing and scheduling. Requires interaction with shelter guests experiencing homelessness, adherence to safety policies, and collaboration with supervisors to ensure timely services and a dignified, welcoming environment for guests, visitors, staff, and volunteers. Familiarity with safety procedures, MSDS, and basic facility systems is expected.
