Community Service Officer

Patrol District jurisdictional areas, parks, and properties to enforce parking laws, vehicle abatement regulations, and transportation codes while issuing citations and maintaining records. Direct traffic at cruise ship terminals, special events, and accidents; coordinate with adjacent jurisdictions and other law enforcement agencies on crowd-control plans and incident responses. Monitor commercial truck traffic near marine terminals, respond to public complaints, and provide customer service to visitors and tourists. Prepare reports for accidents, incidents, and vehicle data; assist Harbor Police Officers at accident scenes and testify in court proceedings as required.
