Job Summary
Lead development and operation of a Community School plan for a Buffalo Public School; serves as the lead for all community partnerships in the school; coordinates activities of local organizations, colleges, and businesses to meet student, family, and community needs; develops an asset map and data-informed programming; ensures use of the Say Yes Buffalo Student Management System to capture outcomes; manages Saturday Academy and school-based Community Schools budget; collaborates with school administration to enhance academic performance, attendance, behavior, and family engagement; coordinates training, staffing, and resource development with Zone Leader/Program Director; cultivates relationships with school staff, parents, residents, and community partners; supervises and coordinates volunteer systems and program development; analyzes data to inform decisions and prepare reports for Say Yes Buffalo and Buffalo Public Schools; supports professional development and strategic funding efforts; maintains leadership within the school community and aligns services with Say Yes equity goals.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a human services field
- at least three (3) years of community-based experience including supervisory experience
- Valid NYS Driver’s License
