Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee the Odyssey Family Center, implementing strategies to achieve academic outcomes for children and families. Facilitate school-family-community collaborative initiatives by mobilizing learning support activities based on student, family, and community needs. Collaborate with school partners, including United Way and Boys & Girls Club, to secure resources for medical, dental, recreation, and food services. Serve as the key information contact for programs while managing referrals for counseling, tutoring, and healthcare. Organize family engagement nights and workshops to gather stakeholder input, actively participate in Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports, and compile data to identify unmet student needs. Work with at-risk and homeless students during after-school and summer programs, with contracted work days over a 10-month period followed by varied summer hours.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years of related experience
- Must be proficient in computer and technology systems, specifically Google Suite and student information systems
Desired Qualifications
- An Associate's Degree in Social Work or related fields is preferred
- Spanish speaking is preferred
- Experience in school settings, working with children, teens, and families is preferred
- Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) training and implementation experience is preferred
- Experience in school settings and is preferred
