Community Sales Director

Job Summary
Generate new sales leads, convert them to move-ins, and personally close new sales within the community. Conduct tours with prospective residents and families while implementing resident referral programs to maximize occupancy and revenue. Manage the sales department budget, code invoices for payment, and provide detailed weekly and monthly productivity reports to senior leadership. Maintain CRM databases, audit sales data, and conduct bi-annual competitive market research to present strategic alternatives. Respond to corporate inquiries and partner with Marketing Support to ensure lead-generating activities have appropriate support.
Required Qualifications
- College degree preferred, 3-5 years experience in sales and marketing, preferably in senior housing
- Previous experience working with the elderly and/or disabled in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable
- Computer proficiency with working knowledge of Windows, Power Point, Excel software
- Ability to be flexible and work in an environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to relate in a positive and professional way to a diverse resident and employee population
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding residents, employees, staff and the community
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities, complete assignments in a timely manner while managing multiple duties and responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative and creative and have patience, high energy and resourcefulness in problem solving
- In an 8 hour workday, associate may stand / walk: Hours at one time: 2-4, Total hours/ day: 4 – 6
- In an 8 hour workday, associate may sit: Hours at one time: 0 - 2, Total hours/ day: 2 – 4
- In an 8 hour workday, associate may drive: 60-120 minutes, 3 – 4 times a week
- Associate will support / assist: (Maximum lbs) Frequency: 50 lbs, Occasionally: 150 lbs
- Associate will lift / carry (Maximum lbs) Frequency: 40 lbs, Occasionally: 70 lbs
- Associate will use hands for repetitive: Simple grasping, pushing, and pulling, fine manipulation
- Associate should be able to: Bend: Occasionally, Squat: Occasionally, Kneel: Occasionally, Climb:Occasionally, Reach:Occasionally, 3 feet
