Job Summary
Lead and support the Personal Support rostering team to deliver efficient, high-quality rostering services across Forward Ability Support. Ensure safe and consistent service delivery by coordinating workforce coverage for planned, short-notice, and emergency shifts. Balance client needs, workforce availability, award requirements, and operational priorities when making rostering decisions. Collaborate with operational, clinical, WHS, People & Culture, and support teams to ensure safe, compliant, and effective service delivery. Monitor rostering performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Coach and develop the rostering team while promoting a collaborative, service-focused culture. Work from our Newington office Tuesday and Wednesday, then remaining days at home.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing rostering functions within disability, community services, or NDIS environments, including Community and/or SIL services
- Proven experience leading and developing rostering teams
- Strong understanding of NDIS Practice Standards, quality and safeguarding requirements, and rostering compliance
- Advanced knowledge of workforce planning and scheduling practices and relevant industrial awards (SCHADS & Nurses Award)
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with participants, families, support coordinators, operational teams, and internal stakeholders
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex rostering challenges
- Experience using ShiftCare or similar workforce management/rostering systems
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Willingness to travel to community sites as required
