Job Summary
Community Resource Center Specialist II supports community and provider engagement initiatives, builds relationships with community members, departments, partner health plans, and CRC vendors; refers members to services across L.A. Care to promote positive health care outcomes; assists with health education resources, calendars, and customer service; participates in outreach to increase member traffic at CRCs; requires strong communication, organizational, data-entry, and problem-solving skills, proficiency with MS Office, and CPR within 120 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent education/experience
- At least 6 months of community work focused on health care, public health, or health education, OR at least 6 months of operations work experience, community events, leading projects, and supporting relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification within 120 days of hire
- Travel to offsite locations for work.
