Job Summary
Provide direct patient care and participate in the therapeutic milieu within a multi-month residential program at Gunderson Residence, including leading and co-leading patient groups, transporting patients to activities, and delivering care per the treatment plan. Duties include maintaining professional boundaries, documenting encounters, communicating with the clinical team regarding patient milieu and medication-related observations, supervising medication administration, supporting ADLs, assessing sleep patterns, coordinating appointments, and contributing to rounds/case conferences. Requires completion of MAP certification where applicable and strong collaboration with nursing and interdisciplinary staff to support recovery and safety in a psychiatric residential setting. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, documentation accuracy, and ongoing professional development within Mass General Brigham’s ethos of integrity, compassion, respect, and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- Driver's license preferred (state variations)
- Medication Administration Program Certification (MAP) preferred or required within specified period
