Job Summary
Recruit, engage, and retain patients at clinical trial sites while coordinating outreach efforts and distributing educational materials. Build networks with non-medical partners to strengthen trial awareness and locate community events for face-to-face interactions to obtain database leads. Maintain knowledge of enrolling studies, timelines, and protocol requirements while utilizing technology to secure on-time enrollment. Manage projects and act as the point of contact for internal clients to support delivery of recruitment objectives and business growth targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years)
- Good planning, organization and time-management skills with ability to effectively prioritize workload
- Solid interpersonal and problem-solving skills to enable working in a multicultural matrix organization
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Proactive and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
- Strong business acumen and positive attitude
- High degree of accuracy, concentration and proofing skills
- Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf
- Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
- Ability to perform under stress
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Occasional drives to site locations with occasional travel both domestic and international
- Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs
