Job Summary
Record and fulfill donation requests, including packaging, mailing, and distributing donations. Assist with game-day activities such as raffles, auctions, and surprise puck sales. Support the execution of special events, appearances, and street hockey clinics while managing donor data and online auction processes. Perform other duties as assigned. This part-time seasonal role supports outreach initiatives and foundation events within the San Diego Gulls Community Relations Department.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; must be able to communicate effectively with diverse populations, including adults and children of all ages
- Detail-oriented, motivated, and a self-starter; must be able to adapt and prioritize in rapidly changing situations and a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to handle basic cash transactions when necessary
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work all home games, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 0-1 Year
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working for a college or professional sports team is a plus
- Prior work with nonprofit organizations is a plus
- Knowledge of San Diego County communities is a plus
- Hockey knowledge is a plus
