Job Summary

Experienced Registered Nurse sought for primary healthcare roles across Sydney clinics (Ashfield and Blacktown). You will conduct patient triage and nursing assessments, deliver vaccinations, wound care and phlebotomy, assist with minor procedures and treatment plans, support chronic disease management and preventative healthcare initiatives, undertake mental health screening within scope, coordinate recalls and follow-up, maintain infection prevention standards, support accreditation and clinical governance, and participate in outreach. You will work autonomously within a supportive multidisciplinary MDT, collaborating with General Practitioners and other professionals to provide holistic, person-centred care to vulnerable populations. Requires current AHPRA registration, minimum three years post-registration experience, and experience across primary healthcare settings. A driver’s licence, BLS certification, and up-to-date immunisations are required. Prior experience with homelessness-housing insecure populations, mental health, AOD, and familiarity with clinical software (Best Practice, Helix or similar) are highly regarded. Required Qualifications

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum three years' post-registration nursing experience
  • Experience in general practice, community health, primary healthcare, emergency nursing, mental health, drug and alcohol, correctional health or other relevant clinical settings
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Experience with vaccinations, wound management and chronic disease management
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Understanding of trauma-informed practice and harm minimisation principles
  • Current unrestricted driver's licence
  • Current BLS certification
  • Up-to-date immunisation record and continuing professional development requirements
