Job Summary
Coordinate and execute logistics for community programs, events, and activities including Power Lunches and resource fairs under the supervision of the Supervisor of Community Connections. Assist with hosting initiatives, participate in signature events, and support all aspects of the Peoria Park District's safety program while following all rules and policies. Engage in professional development sessions and team-building activities as assigned. This part-time role requires flexible hours including nights and weekends, valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Interns receive discounted recreation classes and free admission to select facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Status as a current high school or college undergrad student (Sept 2026 - Dec 2026)
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to work flexible hours, specifically nights, weekends, and events
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
