Job Summary

Guide planning studies, land development reviews, and entitlement efforts from concept through implementation. Analyze data, develop visually compelling reports, and translate complex planning topics into actionable solutions. Lead client-facing presentations, facilitate meetings, and engage directly with community members, public officials, developers, and partners to build alignment and advance projects. Contribute to long-range planning and comprehensive plans while deepening expertise in land use and project communication. This role offers greater ownership and visibility across diverse project types within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Public Policy, or other closely related field from an accredited college or university
  • 4 years of progressive planning experience or equivalent education and experience
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Individuals must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment without a need for current or future visa sponsorship

Desired Qualifications

  • Certification by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP)
  • Thorough knowledge and skills in GIS and its planning uses
  • General knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong skills in client needs assessment, meeting quality standards for service, and evaluation of client satisfaction
