Job Summary
Community Planner responsible for supporting dynamic project teams across Texas, conducting public engagement activities, creating GIS maps and graphics, and preparing plan documents. The successful candidate will work collaboratively and autonomously and be based out of one of Halff’s offices in San Antonio, Austin, Fort Worth, or Richardson with mostly in-person work. Responsibilities include research and analysis, writing and communicating through visuals, client communications, consensus-building, and confidently interacting with the public.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in community/urban planning or a closely related field from an accredited university
- 1-4 years of experience in a planning capacity
- Strong knowledge of GIS, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office programs, InDesign
