Community Partnership Specialist

Job Summary
Connect JVS clients to external organizations by building reciprocal relationships with community-based partners to remove barriers and ensure successful program completion. Serve as the primary liaison between potential clients and referral contacts, guiding them through enrollment processes while maintaining a tracking document of community contacts. Troubleshoot unsuccessful referrals, develop new partners for emerging needs, and generate strategy to address unforeseen changes. Ensure all key data is accurate in tracking systems and create regular performance reports for leadership and funders. Occasional local travel, evening, and weekend hours may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business/Marketing, Human Resources, Human services, social work, Education, or related field, or equivalent (4 years) experience
- 3+ years of community engagement experience
- Occasional local travel

Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual, bicultural
- Working knowledge of adult education, social service and/or workforce development organizations in the Greater Boston area
- Excellent relationship building skills, including the ability to interact with a diverse range of colleagues
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with and assist a multi-cultural customer base, including those with low levels of English proficiency and limited educational backgrounds
- Demonstrated success in partnership building
- Demonstrated success in performance tracking, maintaining a contact database, or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite
- Ability to define and prioritize goals and objectives
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
