Job Summary
Conduct proactive and reactive community outreach by going door-to-door, facilitating client sign-ups, and providing compassionate support. Coordinate spay/neuter and veterinary services by transporting animals to Mountain Humane, assisting with surgeries, and monitoring post-operative recovery. Maintain accurate client and animal records in ShelterLuv, schedule appointments, and ensure the veterinary clinic and isolation suites remain clean and well-stocked. Assist the veterinary team with examinations, medical procedures, and public clinic services including nail trims and grooming. Transport animals between South Central Idaho venues and the Hailey shelter, utilizing a company vehicle for daily travel. Meet weekly with the Access to Care Manager to clarify program needs and goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Must work well with the public, including persons of varied racial, ethnic, cultural, socioeconomic backgrounds, sexual preference, and with individuals who are differently-abled
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Strong administrative skills
- Highly organized
- Motivated
- Ability to remain flexible under pressure

- Ability to organize and set priorities
- Computer proficiency
- Working knowledge of Windows
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Word & Excel)
- Ability to learn new programs quickly
- Comfortable driving large vehicles
- Good driving record
- Reside in Lincoln, Gooding, Jerome, or Twin Falls County
- Must maintain a neat and well-groomed personal appearance
- Must wear supplied uniforms and closed toed shoes
- Must comply with all safety protocols
- Must be at least the age of 18
- Must maintain a valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Some evening and weekend hours
- Regular driving of company vehicles
- Occasional use driving of company vehicles
- May include vehicle travel back and forth to venues
- Work day includes walking, standing, sitting, bending, squatting, lifting (occasionally up to 50 lbs)
- Answering telephones

Desired Qualifications
