Job Summary
Community Outreach Sales Representative responsible for selling broadband internet services in a face-to-face environment. Initiates and engages with potential subscribers to promote and sell products, identifies customer needs, demonstrates product value, and maintains ongoing communication to ensure customer satisfaction. Builds a network of sales leads, maintains detailed sales activity reports, provides territory sales forecasts, and travels as needed to cover assigned areas. Requires strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, ability to work independently, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of related experience
- Knowledge of broadband technology a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to travel
- Must have reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Outside sales experience preferred in telecommunications or broadband
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer service oriented
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software
