Job Summary
Conduct face-to-face conversations with the public to represent nonprofit organizations across San Diego, sharing information about humanitarian, environmental, and social causes. Encourage community members to support organizations they believe in while exploring different parts of the city to build relationships. Work alongside a supportive team in an energetic, fast-paced environment, receiving paid training and coaching from experienced leaders on day one. Perform this active, outdoor role for 7-hour shifts with a minimum availability of 21 hours per week, utilizing strong communication skills developed from backgrounds in hospitality, retail, or customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Comfortable speaking with the public every day
- Able to work outdoors and remain on your feet during shifts
- Reliable transportation or ability to get to team meeting locations
- Minimum availability of 21 hours per week
