Job Summary
Develops, facilitates, and implements outreach activities, special events, programs, and presentations to support member education and health plan awareness within the Medicaid population and the community; builds and maintains relationships with community organizations while ensuring marketing guideline compliance with state laws; oversees on-site event staffing and logistics, creates calendars for community engagement, and supports enrollment initiatives to increase market share; engages with organizations and coalitions to advocate for the health plan and communicates health plan resources and benefits to community members; requires travel within Oklahoma and occasional overnight travel, with regular weekday hours plus some evenings/weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience with community outreach, public relations, community health, and/or event planning
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Must reside in Oklahoma
- Ability to travel 50% of the time within Oklahoma, primarily within the Northeast region, as well as to other regions of the state as needed
- Bachelor’s degree
