Job Summary
Community Outreach Coordinator (Bilingual/Spanish) in Logansport, IN — Full-time role with Firefly Children & Family Alliance. Responsible for community outreach to educate, promote, and market Community Partners for Child Safety; plan and attend events focused on preventing child abuse and neglect; collaborate with community agencies to advocate for at‐risk children and families; requires Spanish-speaking ability and experience in human services; duties include coordinating events, maintaining partnerships, promoting CPCS at events, and assisting families through referrals and resource connections. The position involves evening and weekend events and may include transportation support for families.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a directly-related human service field
- 2+ years of experience in social service for children or families
- Spanish Speaking required
- Experience in working with diverse communities
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Understanding of and ability to work effectively with the community
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Collaborative and cross-cultural teamwork
- Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
