Community Oncology Leader / Specialist in Breast Cancer / Physician

Job Summary

Oversee the Breast Cancer Program at Community Hematology & Medical Oncology practices, establishing consistent clinical standards across five community sites including Good Samaritan and Meridian Park. Care for patients with hematologic and oncologic disease while ensuring every patient is considered for a clinical trial. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deploy clinical trials at community locations and participate in teaching fellows within a community-based longitudinal clinic. Provide primarily outpatient coverage with required on-call rotation across the group. Engage in administrative committees and public service consultative activities as approved.

Required Qualifications

  • MD, MD/PhD, DO, MBBS, or MBBCh
  • Medical oncologist/hematologist licensed to practice medicine in Washington and Oregon
  • Board-certified/board-eligible in medical oncology/hematology
  • A desire to practice in a community-based clinical environment as part of an academic health care system

  • Physician leadership experience
  • Demonstrates the background, focus, and drive to excel, as well as the ability to provide excellent clinical care to cancer patients in the community setting
