Job Summary
Develop and maintain effective care plans for patients in home, clinic, retirement home, and school settings. Provide exceptional nursing services through in-person and virtual interactions while communicating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams. Perform other clinical duties as required, adhering to a 2-week rotation schedule including weekends and on-call work from 8 am to 8 pm. This role offers Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses the opportunity to practice within their full scope, pursue specialization, and access flexible scheduling and autonomy over assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) degree or diploma
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing
- A valid driver's license and vehicle
- CPR Certification
- Current immunization record including 2 step TB test
- Current vulnerable sector check
- Clear background check
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Hours of work are 8 am - 8 pm within a 2-week rotation inclusive of weekends, weekdays, and on-call work
