Job Summary
Clean communal areas across housing schemes, including stairs, hallways, shared facilities, and communal surfaces. Remove rubbish and dog fouling, wipe handrails, and maintain bin areas for collection days. Monitor cleaning stock, report issues like fly tipping or health and safety concerns, and liaise regularly with your Supervisor or Service Manager. Treat residents and colleagues with respect while working independently to manage your own workload. This hands-on role involves out-and-about cleaning to keep shared spaces clean, tidy, and welcoming, helping to spot issues early for prompt resolution. You'll work 35 hours per week across North Wales housing communities, including weekends, with a works van provided.
Required Qualifications
- A positive "can‐do" attitude
- Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean spaces
- Awareness of basic health and safety practices
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good communication skills when dealing with residents and colleagues
- Willingness to carry out physical duties, including manual handling
- A full UK driving licence
- Willingness to complete a Basic DBS check
