Job Summary
As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining positive resident interactions, managing apartment leasing processes, ensuring community curb appeal, handling financial reporting and records, and executing resident compliance activities. The role includes oversight of collections, resident relations programs, and participation in ongoing training. Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, a friendly demeanor, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred candidates will have experience in affordable housing and knowledge of property management laws.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in affordable housing programs including LIHTC, Section 8, and HUD
- Experience with property management-related software
- Familiarity with Fair Housing laws
