Job Summary
Community Manager oversees the assigned property and leads property operations, including supervising and training community associates, leasing and screening residents, maintaining budgetary guidelines, coordinating vendor/contractor activities, ensuring rent collection and security deposit processing, and delivering high-quality customer service to residents. The role requires strong leadership, communication, budgeting, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities, with duties spanning marketing campaigns, resident services programming, walk-throughs, vendor compliance, and collaboration with the Regional/Area Manager to uphold regulatory and program requirements for multi-family housing. Strong written and verbal communication, computer literacy (One Site), and flexibility to work evenings and weekends are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Property/ Community Manager state level license where required
- Minimum three (3) years property management experience preferred
- Proficiency in One Site preferred
- Experience in affordable housing, Tax Credit, HUD and/or Rural Development preferred
- The following designations are preferred: ARM (Accredited Residential Manager), CAM (Certified Apartment Manager)
