Job Summary
VP - Community Manager in the Consumer Banking division focuses on growing One Chase opportunities in underserved communities, building an integrated financial health program, and coordinating community events and workshops. Responsibilities include developing a community outreach and engagement program (70% external, 30% internal), leveraging a national playbook with local programming, managing an events calendar, executing branch events end-to-end, reporting results to national teams, partnering with Branch Managers and OneChase partners on customer engagement and referrals, and acting as a culture carrier promoting inclusion. Requires leadership, relationship-building, executive presence, project management, and a proactive, analytical approach. Regulatory requirements include NMLS/SAFE Act registration and compliance with Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act for loan-originator eligibility, with annual enhanced criminal screening.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience with ability to influence across the firm and in the community
- Highly organized with strong event coordination and project management skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, peers, partners and contacts
- Executive presence with strong presentation skills in small and large/public group settings
- Self-starter with proactive approach, strong time management and prioritization skills
- Strong analytical, strategic and independent problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to discover needs and connect clients and business owners to the right resources
- NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance as part of loan-originator requirements
- Compliance with Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act for loan-originator eligibility
- Annual enhanced criminal screening and background checks as part of employment process
