Job Summary

Community Manager for a 140-bed student housing community in Tallahassee, FL. Responsible for overall property management including maintenance coordination, on/off-site marketing of units, resident relations, staff oversight, vendor coordination, rent collection, and financial reporting. Oversees annual budgeting, analyzes variances, and ensures compliance with company policies, codes, and regulations. Requires proven experience in student housing or property management, strong communication and customer service skills, proficiency with MS Office and social media, and a bachelor’s degree (preferred). The role emphasizes a high level of ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and maintaining asset quality and resident satisfaction. This is a full-time position with potential after-hours/weekend work and a focus on delivering exceptional resident experiences, financial performance, and a secure, well-managed community.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proven work experience in student housing and/or as a property manager
  • Cam (Property Management) a plus
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Well-organized with time management skills
  • Adaptable; able to multi-task in fast-paced environment
