Job Summary
Run day-to-day operations for the Lovable Discord, Reddit, and Facebook groups, managing moderation systems, safety, and culture while growing these presences into thriving communities. Own live virtual sessions including educational webinars, live builds, and office hours by booking hosts, coordinating assets, managing calendars, and running the recording pipeline for the Community Hub. Recruit, onboard, and coach volunteer Community Champions to guide and energize the server, ensuring a healthy, self-sustaining ecosystem. Surface community feedback, feature requests, and session observations to product and marketing teams, while tracking metrics like activity, retention, sentiment, and NPS. Report regularly on community health across all surfaces and celebrate wins loudly within the community and company.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years across community management, events, virtual programs, or developer relations
- Time as the person a large community actually knows
- Built and run a recurring virtual program end-to-end inside an early stage or high-growth tech company
- Deep platform fluency: Discord mechanics (roles, permissions, bots, voice culture) and Reddit dynamics (moderation norms, what a subreddit will and won't tolerate from a brand) from operating inside them, not observing them
- A confident live host and facilitator: comfortable on camera, quick on your feet in Q&A, and able to make a session with 30 people feel as good as one with 500
- Experience recruiting, supporting, and retaining volunteer leaders — moderators & champions
- Tight judgment on moderation and escalation: when to act, when to de-escalate, and when to let the community handle it
- Strong operator with production rigor: hosts booked, assets shipped, calendars accurate, events delivered — every week, without being chased
- Builder instincts: you've shipped something yourself, or you're obsessed with people who do
- Comfortable coordinating across time zones and markets (US, Brazil, Europe)
