Job Summary
Deliver prompt, courteous service to residents, guests, and employees while motivating department heads and front-line staff daily. Plan operational procedures, oversee privacy functions, and coordinate budgets by monitoring financial statements and taking corrective action as needed. Manage vendor contracts for cleaning, maintenance, and security; solicit bids, evaluate performance, and coordinate repairs, construction, and general maintenance projects. Investigate complaints, inspect grounds and facilities for repairs, and prepare meeting paperwork for the Board of Directors. Complete daily, month-end, and annual reporting while maintaining records of costs and supplies. Maintain professional association memberships and attend industry workshops.
Required Qualifications
- Community Association Manager (CAM) License
- High School Diploma
- Five years of previous community management experience in association operations
- Proven leadership experience
- Active CAM license, verified by Department of Business and Professional Regulation
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and employees in one-on-one and small group situations in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to create and disseminate clearly written correspondence
- Ability to delegate responsibilities
- Ability to motivate, develop and manage a team
- Computer literacy
- Ability to perform math computations essential for budgeting and cost analysis purposes
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
