COMMUNITY MANAGER - Trinity Village

Job Summary

Oversee assigned properties by supervising community associates, evaluating performance, and coaching staff to support corporate goals. Attract and select prospective residents while developing marketing campaigns and executing resident services programming. Manage rent collection, security deposits, and vendor compliance, and mediate landlord-tenant disputes. Conduct property inspections for move-in conditions, grounds, and amenities, and track maintenance requests using software. Prepare annual operating budgets and monitor market conditions affecting leasing and operations. Work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends, with travel required for property business.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Property/ Community Manager state level license where required
  • Must be able to access all areas of the propertys grounds and structures, including multilevel structures, with or without the aid of an elevator
  • Able to work with at a computer for a minimum of 7 hours daily either standing or sitting
  • Must have a government issued state ID, or valid driver's license if required by Management based on location/property or business needs
  • Travel independently for the purpose of conducting property business
  • Work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Must be able to motivate portfolio and team members to accomplish company goals and expectations
  • Ability to prioritize and process information with accuracy and clarity
  • Sound understanding of progressive multi-family management and operations as it relates to management of assets, personnel management, office operations, budgeting and planning
  • Must be able to provide excellent customer service and effectively and professionally communicate in e-mail, by phone, or in person during the course of the workday
  • High degree of creativity, coupled with sound business judgment
  • An aggressive self-starter, yet diplomatic to effectuate positive relations with subordinates and peers
  • Performance oriented and highly motivated to produce results
  • Computer literacy
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years property management experience preferred
  • Proficiency in One Site preferred
  • Experience in affordable housing, Tax Credit, HUD and/or Rural Development preferred
  • The following designations are preferred: ARM (Accredited Residential Manager), CAM (Certified Apartment Manager)
