Job Summary
Manage all property management activities to ensure communities remain in good physical condition with stable fiscal operations. Provide leadership to staff, oversee leasing and collections, handle resident relations, and coordinate maintenance for exterior and interior units. Prepare budgets, process lease agreements, and supervise contractors while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal eligibility requirements. Address emergencies, conduct inspections, and maintain accurate financial records including payroll and bank deposits. Evening and weekend work may be required, with on-call response to maintenance situations.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years' experience in multi-family residential property management
- Experience with direct supervision of employees
- Multi-family residential leasing experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Driving record
- Vehicle
- Professional appearance
- Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional manner
- Excellent organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to keep accurate and legible financial records
Desired Qualifications
- Accredited Resident Manager or similar designation
- Accounting/Financial and Administrative background
- Tax Credit, Section 8 and/or Public housing experience
- Two or more years of college
- Required certifications or licenses
- Ability to obtain required certifications or licenses within one year
