Job Summary
Manages day-to-day operations of an apartment community (324 units) including supervising staff, budgeting and financial analysis, rent processing, lease enforcement, inspections, and delivering marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals. Coordinates with owners/clients, analyzes market trends, ensures compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA, and state/local regulations, and oversees maintenance, tenant relations, and vendor contracts. California-specific duties include applying the Lease File Checklist to ensure lease documents are complete and compliant. Requires strong leadership, budgeting, reporting, and customer-service skills and proficiency with property-management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field
- 4-6 years minimum of relevant experience that demonstrates property management, sales, marketing, and customer service
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated with leadership capability
- valid driver’s license and on-site staff must have licenses as required by state and local jurisdictions
