Job Summary

Conduct daily property inspections of common areas, vacant units, and parking lots while managing lease recertifications, rent collection, and maintenance coordination. Enforce community rules, lease terms, and Washington state landlord-tenant laws by issuing notices, attending hearings, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations. Verify resident eligibility against funding requirements, track budgets, approve invoices, and prepare leasing and financial reports. Coordinate move-in inspections with maintenance technicians, obtain service bids, and resolve tenant complaints while maintaining accurate resident and property records. This part-time role supports a 30-unit farmworker tax credit housing community operated by La Amistad. The position requires bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) and proficiency in property management software.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
  • Prior working experience in the property management field
  • Demonstrated computer, accounting, and clerical skills necessary to meet position requirements
  • Two years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Must be Proficient in Word, Excel, outlook and Adobe and property management software applications
  • Knowledge of pertinent Federal, State, and local codes, Laws, and regulations sufficient to perform job duties
  • Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and be able to perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work well with people from diverse social and economic backgrounds
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence
  • Basic Math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Ability to receive and follow written instructions
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Valid Washington State driver's license and minimum required liability insurance for WA State
  • Must be deemed insurable as determined by Catholic Charities' liability insurance provider
  • Being cleared by criminal background check and fingerprinting when required

Desired Qualifications

  • Two years of supervisory experience preferred
