Job Summary
Community Manager responsible for overseeing all phases of the property's daily operations and management, including leasing goals, revenue management, fiscal planning, and resident/community relations. Leads the on-site management team, prepares marketing plans with the Leasing and Marketing Manager, monitors occupancy and pricing, maintains knowledge of the community and competitors, ensures compliance with Fair Housing laws, manages budgets and variances, supervises staff including hiring and development, delivers exceptional resident communications and retention programs, coordinates vendor and university relations, and ensures facilities and safety procedures are executed across the property.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree strongly preferred
- high school diploma required
- 4 years of experience in various positions in a residential rental community is required
- 2 years of experience as a Community Manager with a proven record of achievements
- Student housing experience strongly preferred
- Proven proficiency in all areas of property management operations
- Strong financial, organizational, and analytical and decision-making skills
- Strong internet, word processing, and spreadsheet skills
- Excellent communication, management, and people skills
