Job Summary
Lead property staff by conducting interviews, overseeing onboarding, training, and quarterly assessments while driving team performance through feedback and disciplinary actions. Conduct ongoing training on leasing paperwork and safety, motivate associates via recognition programs, and assist in budget preparation and financial reporting to ensure adherence to approved limits. Promote resident satisfaction by promptly resolving complaints and collaborating with maintenance on service requests, while analyzing market trends to implement leasing strategies that achieve occupancy and revenue goals. Manage owner relationships through property tours and updates, and follow eviction procedures including court representation as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or 1-2 years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and experience
- 3 + years of related multi-family property management experience
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Team player, professional, and effective communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
- Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
- Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
- Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
- Valid driver's license is preferred; candidates without a license will be provided a liability waiver, as applicable
