Job Summary
Community Manager responsible for day-to-day operations of Preserve at Shady Oak in Minnetonka, MN. Manages occupancy goals, resident relations, staff supervision, budgeting, rent collection, move-ins/outs, screening, compliance with housing programs (Section 8, Vouchers, Section 236, Section 42, Bonds, 4D, etc.), safety and audit processes, and coordination with corporate marketing. Requires overseeing staff, performance reviews, hiring/terminations, and ensuring property presents a high standard of curb appeal and resident satisfaction. Experience with Yardi and MS Office is preferred; ARM/COS/RAM or similar designation is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree (4-year degree preferred) in a related field or equivalent combinations of education and experience
- Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Resident Apartment Manager (RAM), or similar designation preferred
- Three years of multifamily property management experience required; tax credit experience preferred
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Yardi experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English) and ability to speak in front of groups of people
- Must be reliable and have exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Must be able to think independently, work with minimal supervision, and coach, mentor and manage others
