Job Summary
The Community Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assigned community(s) and ensures that company objectives are achieved, including associate management, leasing and marketing, compliance, accounting, resident satisfaction, and maintenance activities. Leads 3–10+ employees across Leasing, Maintenance, Assistant Managers, and Porters; recruits, interviews, hires, trains, and orients staff; oversees marketing programs, social media, and collateral; drives leasing activity, renewals, and occupancy; manages resident events and partnerships; directs maintenance operations and capital projects; implements new systems and procedures; ensures regulatory compliance (LIHTC/Section 42, Fair Housing, ADA, wage and hour, and landlord–tenant laws); maintains budget and financials; utilizes Yardi and other PM software; emphasizes employee development, performance feedback, and progressive leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of property management experience
- Minimum 2 years of managing experience, coaching and mentoring
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred
- Preferred Certifications: IREM ARM/CPM, NAA CAM/NALP, or equivalent
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
- Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. meeting I-9 guidelines
- Proficient using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Experience with Yardi and other property management systems
