Job Summary
Community Manager oversees day-to-day operations of the assigned community(s) and ensures company objectives are achieved, including associate management, leasing and marketing, compliance, accounting, resident satisfaction, and maintenance activities. Leads 3–10+ employees across Leasing, Maintenance, Assistant Managers, and Porters; recruits, interviews, and onboards staff; manages marketing programs, resident events, and partnerships; supervises leasing and occupancy programs; ensures compliance with LIHTC/Section 42, Fair Housing, ADA, and wage-hour regulations; maintains budgets and uses property software (Yardi, HRIS, Excel/Sheets, Knock, Elise AI); delivers customer service, resolves escalated issues, and drives continuous improvement through cross-functional collaboration and required training/certifications. Minimum two years of property management experience and supervisory responsibility are required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred, with professional certifications such as IREM ARM/CPM or NAA CAM/NALP highly regarded.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in property management, including sales/multi-family leasing and supervisory responsibility
- Minimum 2 years of managing experience, coaching and mentoring
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred
- Preferred Certifications: IREM ARM/CPM, NAA CAM/NALP, or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. meeting I-9 guidelines
- Successful completion of background check and drug screen required
- Must be able to speak, read and write English in a manner sufficient to carry out duties
