Job Summary
Community Manager role overseeing day-to-day operations of a Greystar property (Lease-Up Unit 259) including team management, budget adherence, leasing, rent collection, vendor coordination, inspections, and resident relations. Responsibilities include maintaining financial reporting, ensuring compliance with housing laws, developing marketing/leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals, supervising staff, coordinating with ownership/client, and delivering high-quality resident service. Strong emphasis on budgeting, vendor management, and adherence to company policies and standards. California-specific lease-process compliance provided for California sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field
- 4-6 years minimum of relevant experience that demonstrates the application of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service background sufficient to manage the day-to-day operation of an apartment community
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as a leader, and as a collaborative member of a team
- Specialized skills: valid driver’s license; proficiency with property management software (preferably Entrata, Yardi, and/or OneSite)
- Licenses/certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
