Job Summary
Community Manager for Lease Up at Hawthorne Residential Partners. You will oversee all aspects of community operations—financial performance, leasing success, vendor partnerships, and resident satisfaction—while guiding a team to achieve occupancy goals. Responsibilities include budgeting and financial reporting, move-outs and delinquency management, leasing tours and leads, pricing strategies, vendor management, and maintaining curb appeal and quality. Lead with empathy, coach team members, plan resident events, manage online reputation, and ensure compliant operations. Must have High School or GED, two years of property management experience with Lease Up exposure, and a valid driver’s license. Proficiency with YARDI and Knock (and Microsoft products) is highly preferred; CAM/CAPS or Real Estate/Property Management licenses are preferred. Schedule aligns with a 40-hour week, with occasional evenings and Saturdays for events; compensation includes leasing/renewal commissions and bonuses. Required Qualifications
- Two years of property management experience; including Leasing Consultant and Assistant Community Manager experience
- Lease Up Experience Required
- Six months of community manager experience in multi-family
- Valid Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- CAM
- CAPS
- Real Estate license and/or Property Management License preferred
- Industry Software Experience: YARDI, Knock, and Microsoft highly preferred
- Valid Driver's License
