Job Summary
Community Manager for an affordable housing asset. Oversees and coordinates day-to-day operations across loss prevention, risk management, safety/security, maintenance, marketing, and leasing; ensures compliance with HUD, LIHTC, TDHCA, and TAA requirements; manages cash flow and leasing strategy; conducts audits and coordinates housing inspections; analyzes monthly financial statements and prepares budgets; leads on-site maintenance, office staff, and leasing teams; maintains resident relations and contract administration; ensures accurate records and adherence to program guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- At least four (4) years of property management experience.
- Strong working knowledge of leasing, marketing, construction, residential law, and resident relations, specific to the Affordable Housing Industry.
- Thorough knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, TDHCA, TAA, low-income housing tax credit, tax-exempt bond, and other affordable housing programs.
- Working knowledge of property management software; OneSite is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and the Google platform.
- Ability to analyze a monthly financial statement and prepare detailed budgets and operating forecasts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to relate well with others even while working at a distance or remotely.
