Job Summary
Manage the day-to-day social community for KIA America by publishing content across brand channels, distilling cross-platform conversations to identify key posts and emerging trends, and reporting on performance metrics, consumer sentiment, and competitor activity. Build audience engagement by planning shareable content, fostering relationships with fans and influencers, and preparing reactive engagement opportunities while leading virtual "war rooms" during live moments. Collaborate with the brand team, account, and strategy groups to ensure a holistic brand focus, maintain a pulse on social trends and culture, and provide ongoing optimization recommendations. Requires 1+ years of experience with tools like Sprout and Hootsuite, proficiency on major platforms, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment three days a week in SoCal.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years in community management or social media management experience
- Demonstrated experience of using social media in personal or professional setting
- Experience with social media tools such as, but not limited to, Sprout, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Emplifi, Netbase and/or Digimind
- Understanding of social media and the online space
- Proficiency with key social platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest and Snapchat with a solid understanding of each platform's core features, as well as a technical understanding of each network's advertising capabilities
- Ability to create and execute detailed social posting calendars, including campaign planning, content descriptions and posting copy direction
- Must be self-motivated and well organized with a strong attention to detail
- Analytic thinking; ability to extrapolate insights and key learnings that will impact creative strategies/concepts in real-time
- Ability to collaborate with creative, production, account and strategy teams
- Ability to uncover powerful insights that drive ideas (big and small) by understanding the entire brand context
- Exceptional interpersonal and written/verbal communications skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks
- Candidates must be local to SoCal
- We are a hybrid workplace, x3 days week in-office
