Job Summary
Oversee daily operations, financial performance, and physical maintenance of multiple residential communities while ensuring regulatory compliance and resident satisfaction. Monitor occupancy, leasing metrics, and delinquency; conduct property inspections; manage budgets; and coordinate maintenance teams to maximize revenue and retention. Lead onsite teams through performance discussions, onboarding, and training to foster accountability and a positive culture. Resolve escalated resident issues, prepare operational reports, and assist with audits and agency inspections. Maintain accurate resident files and ensure adherence to Fair Housing laws and affordable housing programs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of residential property management experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Experience managing multiple communities
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws
- Excellent leadership and coaching abilities
- Strong financial and budgeting skills
- Ability to analyze financial reports and operational metrics
- Excellent conflict resolution and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to walk properties, climb stairs, and inspect buildings
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and use standard office equipment for extended periods
- Ability to travel between assigned properties as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Property Management, Real Estate, or related field
- LIHTC experience & certification
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM)
- Experience with AppFolio, Paycom, and other property management software
