Job Summary
Lead, train, and supervise on-site staff while establishing performance expectations and evaluating team productivity. Resolve resident concerns, support leasing and occupancy goals, and manage property budgets, expenses, revenue, and financial reporting. Ensure timely rent collection, review invoices, oversee marketing initiatives, coordinate maintenance teams, and inspect the community regularly. Maintain compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and applicable laws. Perform additional duties as assigned. This role oversees staff, leasing, marketing, budgeting, resident relations, maintenance, vendor management, and overall property performance for a multifamily community in Flat Rock, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license or reliable transportation
- Property Manager (PMIC) license if working in the state of SC
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or at least two years of successful apartment management experience preferred
- Strong background in customer service, leasing, and marketing
- Experience with Microsoft Office and property management software (Yardi Voyager, Popcard, Payscan, and Rent Café preferred)
- Knowledge of apartment management laws, regulations, budgeting, and financial management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet company goals
- Sales and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
- Team-oriented mindset
- CAM certification preferred
