Job Summary
Lead and develop a high-performing team for a 349-unit community by recruiting, coaching, and fostering collaboration while driving financial performance through budget management and cost-saving initiatives. Ensure operational excellence by maintaining occupancy and rental rate goals, conducting property inspections, and coordinating resident move-ins. Elevate marketing and customer service by executing programs, maintaining an accurate online presence, and resolving resident concerns professionally. This role combines leadership, operations, and customer service in a fast-paced environment at Fairfield, a leader in the multifamily housing industry.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree
- Industry certification
- Valid driver's license
- 3 or more years of hands-on property management experience
- Multifamily property experience
- Previous Community Manager experience
- Successful track record as a supervisor
- Strong understanding of financial statements such as budget, financial reports, P&L Statements, General Ledger, etc.
- Experience managing housing vouchers and Subsidy rent payments
- Experience in writing and maintaining budgets
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong knowledge of Yardi or other property management accounting software
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local fair housing laws and provisions
- Previous track record of maintaining occupancy and net operating incomes in multi-family property management positions
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and some holidays
