Community Manager (Developer)

Job Summary

Manage developer-controlled communities by reading governing documents, partnering with the management team to ensure compliance, and establishing rapport with Developer Clients. Interact with homeowners, vendors, and service providers to maintain high-quality customer service while preparing bid specs, work orders, and monthly financial reports. Research and disseminate communications regarding association activities, schedule annual budget and status meetings, and oversee compliance with state and federal statutes. Document transitions of common areas using the MAP system, coordinate utility establishment, and facilitate the transition to homeowner control. Utilize personal automobile to inspect common areas and attend monthly sales and construction meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • strong HOA/association management experience
  • confidence working directly with developers and boards
  • detail-oriented approach to financial, operational, and compliance oversight
  • in-depth knowledge of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&R's) and management contracts
  • strong understanding and knowledge of Association governing documents, including but not limited to CC&Rs, Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, as well as federal statutes relating to Associations
  • Experience working with Developer Communities, HOA's, or other entities that involved knowledge and enforcement of Governing Documents
