Job Summary
Maximize occupancy, collections, and resident retention while managing daily operations for a 120-unit community in East Moline, IL. Conduct resident relations, resolve issues, and handle move-ins and move-outs with thorough inspections. Oversee staff, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and scheduling, while supervising contractors and vendors. Manage maintenance requests, ensure property curb appeal, and enforce compliance with federal and state regulations. Collect rent, process screening for Section 8 and other housing programs, and maintain accurate records in the Yardi database. Report emergencies immediately and address audit findings within designated time frames.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree (4-year degree preferred) in a related field or equivalent combinations of education and experience
- Three years of multifamily property management experience required
- Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Resident Apartment Manager (RAM), or similar designation
- tax credit experience
- Accounting and administrative background
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Yardi experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
- ability to speak in front of groups of people
- The ability to speak a second language
- Must be reliable

Desired Qualifications
